Music filled the cafeteria of the lower campus and artwork lined its main hall during the annual Evening of the Arts on April 7.

First to perform was the elementary choir. The cast of the lower campus production of “101 Dalmatians Kids!” closed the show.

In between, an ensemble of upper campus band members performed three songs. And seventh-grader Cassidy Davis and sophomore Katelyn Stewart sang two songs.

“I’ve performed before, but I was especially nervous this time,” Cassidy said. “I’ve never performed for that big of a crowd.”

Afterwards, audience members strolled the hall and admired the art on display. At the end, they reached the refreshment table.

Freshman Jordan Sarver played her trombone with the ensemble and had some of her artwork on display.

“I had lots of fun playing, and I got lots of compliments on my artwork,” Jordan said. “I’m very proud of myself and everyone else that played and sang today.”
